The Italy-USA Foundation has promoted the 2025 edition of the America Innovation Award, a recognition for innovators who are the creators of the best Italian innovative startups and SMEs. Alongside the America Award, the historic recognition for the most prestigious personalities of clear international fame, the America Innovation Award aims to valorize every year 300 entrepreneurial talents of our country who have conceived and created innovative and competitive startups and SMEs in the world of the global market and global challenges. A recognition of international prestige, which represents a qualification and a certification of quality in front of investors. Of the 300 startups and SMEs awarded, 22 received the prize for the second consecutive year and 5 were awarded for the third consecutive year, confirming their national excellence. In addition to the award parchment, which was delivered during the official ceremonies in Rome at the Italian Parliament, the innovators received a scholarship to take advantage of the exclusive online master’s degree of the Fondazione Italia USA in “Leadership for international relations and Made in Italy”. The winners of the America Innovation Award and the related scholarship are selected by the Foundation, through the Business Registry and the Chamber of Commerce system, on the basis of various indicative parameters of the competitiveness values and innovative investments of startups and SMEs. Female entrepreneurship and that of young people under 35 years of age constitute a privileged evaluation factor. Self-nominations are not possible.
