EDA and Foundry Models needed for Current Crisis

The tech sector more than any other holds the keys to the solutions to the current crisis and there are lots of them on all levels. The most powerful force in the world is compounding and a platform is needed to avoid duplication of efforts and increase coordination in a way the maximizes the compounding effect through cooperation and sharing. We need the equivalent of an EDA ecosystems for the challenges before us and the tech sector more than any other has mastered the combination of EDA and foundry models like no other industry in compressing time to develop and application. Why build from scratch, when the semi/nanotech industry has spent decades perfecting the structures of these platforms. They have enabled the rapid compounding of knowledge and solutions to a myriad of efforts. These platforms have the speeded up processes continuously while lowering costs and time to application, while medical has done the opposite, increasing costs at ever lower quality. When disaster strikes, it pays to go with success and the tech sector has proven its models work better than any other industry at speed of development, application and lowering costs, something the government and medical have not only failed at, but continue to raise costs and lower effectiveness. Both sides should come to their senses and go with the winners.
