Job Title: Sr. Sales & Business Development Engineer – Inertial Sensor
Required Skills &Experience:>
SalesEngineer with solid technical background (BSEE or BSME required).>
This is an excellentopportunity for an experienced Sales professional with general knowledge ofMEMS IMU, dynamic tilt sensors, and inertial sensing sub-systems, to join afast growing entrepreneurial culture. Must have a minimum of 5 years ofexperience in sales or business development, with a track record of being ableto win new designs and grow revenues.>
The ideal candidatewill have existing knowledge and relationships in some segment of the inertialsensor market. He /she will be capable of engaging with new customers, findingactive development projects, providing /coordinating technical support, andultimately winning new designs. The responsibilities also include managing andtraining our rep and distribution network in North America and Europe. You willalso be a key part of the marketing team, and have input into the new productroadmap and definitions.>
Primary Responsibilities:>
>
- Set and achieve revenue goals for your region
> - Identify and engage target customers
> - Find new customer programs, understand the program goals, timing, decision criteria, and competitive situation
> - Maintain a warboard or funnel of all the active programs in your region
> - Work closely with the product manager to develop sales collateral, product roadmaps, promotion strategy, trade shows to attend, etc.
> - Assist in the development of Marketing Requirement Documents defining future products
> - Significant contributor to the engineering project prioritization process
> - Significant travel involved (variable depending on the situation, but probably averages 30% ~ 50%)
