Learning about MEMS in Israel from: EDA companies, Foundry, University, Users
by Daniel Payne on 10-23-2012 at 12:24 pm

In April I attended and blogged about a webinar on MEMS and IC co-design hosted by two EDA companies: SoftMEMS and Tanner EDA. On October 30th you can attend a full-day event in Israel that is more comprehensive than the webinar that I attended.

Here’s the list of companies presenting:

The agenda lasts all day:

09:00-10:00 Registration (coffee &breakfast) & demos of Tanner EDA & SoftMEMS tools
10:00:10:30 Welcome: Roni Amir—GM, ARTech and Greg Lebsack–President, Tanner EDA
10:30-11:00 Matan Naftali—CEO, Maradin
11:00- 11:30 Tanner EDA MEMS design tools—Dr. Massimo Sivilotti, Chief Scientist, Tanner
Research

11:30-12:30 SoftMEMS tools – Dr. Mary Ann Maher, CEO, SoftMEMS
12:30-13:00 Presentation — Prof. Nir Tessler, Technion
13:00-14:00 Lunch/networking

Summary
Growth in the MEMS marketplace looks upbeat as reported by market research firm IHS iSuppli, so if you need to learn more about MEMS and IC design in Israel, then consider attending this event on October 30, 2012.
